The FSFOA Fall 2018 Conference will take place November 6 – 9, 2018 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort in Fort Myers.  The conference could not take place without the support of our wonderful sponsors and we look forward to seeing you.

Conference registration is $1,500.  The registration covers two of your team members, booth/2-chairs, group breakfast, Welcome Reception on Tuesday, Thursday evening event, and admission to all of our meetings.  For those companies bringing more than two team members, additional per person registration will be $125. 

FSFOA is officially paperless and we strongly encourage you to register online. During registration process please provide all the information requested so we can ensure everything is correct in our online program and conference app. For example, when we ask for the team members that will be attending the conference, that information will be used to prepare the conference badges. The link to register is below on the right side of the screen.

The conference rate for the hotel is $139 per night and includes complimentary wi-fi.  Reservations must be made no later than October 15, 2018 to receive the group rate and can be made online by copying the following address and pasting it into your browser goo.gl/K6b3WC, by using the Hotel Website link at the top of this page  or by calling 1-800-767-7777 and referencing the Florida School Finance Officers Association.  The online registration may reference a resort fee but that has been waived for the conference and will be managed at the hotel.  Should the conference hotel reach capacity, the alternate hotel is the Residence Inn Forty Myers/Sanibel, which is a 6 minute drive from the conference.  A room rate of $124 is available through October 20th if you reference Florida School Finance Officers Association.

Materials can be shipped to the hotel using the address below.  The materials will be delivered to your booth/table for set up on Tuesday. Once you arrive, please ask for Michael Yanosik or Gretchen Saunders if you have any questions with the set-up process.

If you would like to sponsor or co-sponsor any of our activities, we have several opportunities ranging from the Welcome Reception and the Thursday night event to breakfasts, snack bags and entertainment.  We welcome your ideas.  Our theme is "Navigating the Way Forward”.  If you have ideas or suggestions, please contact Gretchen Saunders, our Sponsor Coordinator, by clicking the link or by phone at 813-272-4383.

Important dates and times

  • Monday, 10/15 last day to reserve hotel rooms at conference rate
  • Tuesday, 11/6 12:30 - 5:00 pm - Sponsor setup begins.  Tables will be labeled with company names.
  • Tuesday, 11/6 5:30 pm - Welcome Reception
  • Wednesday, 11/7 9:20 am - Sponsor Introductions (after the Fl. Dept. of Ed Session)
  • Thursday, 11/8 10:50 am – Sponsor Appreciation
  • Thursday, 11/8 Booth/table must be taken down by 6:00 pm

Basic Sponsorship - $1,500

Additional Badge Requests - in addition to the two included in the Basic Sponsorship - $125

Other Sponsorship Opportunities - This is a blank field where you can indicate other sponsorships such as an afternoon break, breakfast, etc.

Payment Options – payment by credit card is preferred, but we also accept checks.
If you need to split your payment over more than one credit card, please complete the registration process but indicate payment will be made by check. Then do a second registration providing your company name and contact information, but choose to purchase only Other Sponsorship Opportunities at the bottom of the page. You can indicate the amount you would like to apply to credit card #1 and make that payment.  You can complete this process again with the amount to be paid on credit card #2.
